It is my pleasure to welcome you to the EFLM Strategic Conference 2026, which will take place on 24–25 April 2026 in the beautiful city of Prague, a historic centre of science and education at the heart of Europe.

This year’s Strategic Conference will once again serve as a dynamic platform to address key developments, opportunities, and challenges in laboratory medicine. With the participation of leading experts, representatives of EFLM functional units, and professionals from across Europe and beyond, the conference aims to stimulate forward-looking dialogue on the direction and priorities of our field in the coming years.

Beyond the rich scientific programme, the meeting will also provide a valuable space for strategic discussions, networking, and collaborative planning, reinforcing the role of laboratory medicine in shaping effective and sustainable healthcare.
